HOW DOES IT WORK? WHAT IS AN ANAGLYPH? Because of the separation of your eyes, they see two different angles. Your brain combines these two angles into a single three dimensional image. Anaglyph 3-D works in the same way. Each picture is photographed from two different angles. Computer software is used to combine these two angles into a single anaglyph. When the anaglyph is viewed with the red and blue glasses, your left eye sees the left view only, and your right eyes see the right angle only. Your brain takes this information a turns it into 3-D. Ron has been a 3-D photographer since 1960. His stereographs of National Parks are well known by nature lovers. This limited edition DVD is a labor of love by Ron, and he produces them one at a time on his computer. Many of the 3-D concepts in the DVD were developed by Ron. He uses "hyper stereo" to show the depth of far away mountains. He zooms in on 3-D scenes, giving you the feeling of traveling into the screen. Objects appear to come out of the screen. The DVD was designed to be best viewed on your computer monitor. In this way, you will see the images in high definition. The red and blue outlines are minimized so the images are sharp. Below is a High Def 3-D tour of Clear Lake State Park in Lake County, CA.
